We the Tsuu Tina People, pursuant to our inherent sovereignty as affirmed by Treaty 7 of 1877, Shall henceforth: take responsibility of our rights, secure the advantage of our general welfare, safeguard our interests, sustain our culture, promote our traditions, and perpetuate our existence

What is the Role
of the Governance Department?


The Purpose of the Governance Department is to FACILITATE the creation of a Governance Structure that will sustain the Tsuu T’ina Peoples in the Future.


WASU = For The Future


The Reason for doing this is to provide Protection and Safeguards for our Lands, People, Language, Customs and who we are as a Tsuu T’ina Peoples.


Who can contribute to the process?


Everyone who is the age of majority - 18 years of age or older. Everyone who has a stake in the Future of the Nation Governance "Only you can make a difference"
